Il Festival Laboratorio Interculturale di Pratiche Teatrali è un progetto pedagogico interculturale a carattere ricorrente, che il Teatro Potlach realizza presso la propria sede a Fara Sabina, in collaborazione con l'I.S.T.A. (International School of Theatre Anthropology), diretta da Eugenio Barba, e con le tre Università di Roma, La Sapienza, Roma Tre e Tor Vergata.
Il progetto nasce nel 2000 da un incontro tra il maestro Eugenio Barba, regista dell’Odin Teatret e fondatore dell’Antropologia Teatrale, e Pino Di Buduo, direttore artistico del Teatro Potlach e membro permanente della Maison des Sciences de l’Homme di Parigi. Gli obiettivi del Festival sono:

Realizzare una manifestazione culturale di grande qualità, in grado di presentare gli stimoli più fecondi del panorama teatrale internazionale, attraverso la circolazione e la mobilità degli artisti;

Proporre spettacoli di alta qualità secondo una logica interculturale e di crescita del territorio;

Favorire l’incontro con i nuovi linguaggi dello spettacolo e la multidisciplinarietà realizzando seminari, lezioni ed incontri con artisti e personalità di livello nazionale ed internazionale;

Favorire la formazione di un nuovo pubblico e la promozione, attraverso l’arte, delle eccellenze artistiche del territorio;
-
Sviluppare la conoscenza dei cittadini, riqualificando e valorizzando l’identità del territorio del Comune di Fara Sabina, della Provincia di Rieti e della Regione Lazio.
Il programma della manifestazione si articola in due sessioni annuali, a giugno e a ottobre. Al suo interno si susseguono seminari condotti da maestri di diverse tradizioni sceniche, esperti del settore audiovisivo e multimediale, conferenze e spettacoli con registi, attori, professionisti di fama internazionale e gruppi di grande valore e prestigio nazionale.
The Intercultural Festival Laboratory of Theatre Practice (FLIPT) is a pedagogical intercultural project recurring every year, organized by Teatro Potlach and held in its premises in Fara Sabina. It is realized with the cooperation of I.S.T.A. (International School of Theatre Anthropology), directed by Eugenio Barba, and together with the three universities of Rome: La Sapienza, Roma Tre and Tor Vergata.
The project starts in 2000 from a meeting between the master Eugenio Barba, director of Odin Teatret and founder of Theatre Anthropology, and Pino Di Buduo, artistic director of Teatro Potlach and permanent member of the Maison des Sciences de l’Homme of Paris.
The Festival purposes are:

to create a high quality cultural event, capable of presenting the most fertile and stimulating realities in the international theatrical world, through circulation and mobility of the artists;

to propose high quality performances, following a logic that is both international and of local growth;

to promote the encounter with the new languages of performance and multidiscipline, creating workshops, lectures and meetings with artists and national and international personalities;

to promote the creation of a new audience and the promotion, through art, of the local artistic excellences;
-
to enhance knowledge in the citizens, giving back quality and value to the local identity of Fara Sabina, to the province of Rieti and to the region Lazio.
The program of the event is divided into two annual sessions, one in June and one in October. Within these sessions, several workshops follow each other, held by teachers coming from different theatrical traditions, experts in the audiovisual and multimedia fields. Also meetings and performances are held with directors, actors, internationally acclaimed professionals and groups of great value and international prestige.
