Pino Di Buduo è nato a Roma. Si laurea in Filosofia all’Università La Sapienza di Roma con il massimo dei voti, e per due anni è assistente delle cattedre di Antropologia Culturale e di Tradizioni Popolari.
Nel 1975 partecipa per sei mesi al seminario internazionale per attori presso l’Odin Theatre diretto da Eugenio Barba in Danimarca.
Nel 1976 fonda il Teatro Potlach a Fara Sabina (in Italia) con Daniela Regnoli, dove ancora oggi lavora attivamente nelle vesti di Direttore Artistico. Svolge un’intensa attività artistica nella produzione di spettacoli, progetti speciali e Festival.
Ha creato il progetto “Città Invisibili” sul tema della città e la memoria dei luoghi, che tutt’oggi ha un’intensa diffusione internazionale. Si tratta di un progetto artistico interdisciplinare e multimedia, e dal 1991 sono state fatte più di 60 “Città Invisibili” in tutto il mondo (Italia, Francia, Austria, Inghilterra, Danimarca, Brasile, Texas, etc…).
Da diversi anni svolge un’intensa attività pedagogica, organizzando seminari e laboratori pratici per giovani attori e registi; inoltre collabora con diverse università in Italia e all’estero, quali La Sapienza, Roma Tre, l’Università federale di Salvador de Bahia e quella di Porto Alegre in Brasile.
Partecipa ogni anno a molte conferenze e convegni in tutto il mondo.
Dal 22 Novembre 2003 Pino Di Buduo, in quanto gestore e direttore del Teatro Potlach è diventato membro associato della Maison des Sciences de l’Homme di Parigi.
Dirige tutti gli spettacoli e i progetti del Teatro Potlach dal 1976.
Pino Di Buduo was born in Rome. He graduated in Philosophy at the University of Rome La Sapienza and for two years was assistant for both the two chairs of Cultural Anthropology and Popular Tradition.
In 1975 he participated to a international workshop for actors in Denmark at the Odin Theatre directed by Eugenio Barba.
In 1976 he founded the Teatro Potlach in Fara Sabina (Italy) with Daniela Regnoli, where he still now works actively as artistic director. He carries out an intense artistic activity of performance production, of special projects, of Festivals.
He created the Project “Città Invisibili” (Invisible Cities) on the theme of the city and the memory of the place, that has an international diffusion still active today. It’s a interdisciplinary and multimedia artistic project, and since 1991 more of 60 “Città Invisibili” have been made in all the world (Italy, France, Austria, England, Denmark, Brazil, Texas etc.).
From several years he carries out an intense pedagogical activity, he organizes seminars, practical workshops for young actors and directors; collaborates with many Italian and International Universities such as La Sapienza, Roma Tre, Federal University of Salvador de Bahia and Porto Alegre in Brazil.
Every year he participates as speaker to many conferences and conventions in all over the world.
On the 22 of November 2003 Pino Di Buduo as manager and director of the Teatro Potlach became associated member of the Maison des Sciences de l’Homme of Parigi.
He direct all the performances and project of the Potlach’s Theatre from 1976.
